During the past 20 years I have been in the Mortgage industry 5 years, an Investor/Rehabber, and a REALTOR 15 years. LIFE doesn't always provide the road less traveled, you have to sift through the possibilities and pick your passion. Fortunately I found mine in Real Estate. As a full time REALTOR I am able to help those buying and selling homes to accomplish their goals 98% of the time. With my background in the mortgage industry and remodeling homes I have been able to help clients clearly define what they want, what they can have financially, and negotiate on their behalf, especially my first time home buyers, to buy their home within their budget. Also explaining to sellers in REAL terms what could get their homes sold for a price they are willing to accept. My titles are now Mom, Oma, Wife, Sister, Friend and Real Estate Consultant.

I recently relocated to South Carolina from out of state. In planning my retirement I have been in communication with Susan McCarter for 2 years. All that time Susan was 100% on top of things in making sure she knew exactly what I was looking for and informing me on the South Carolina housing market. She scheduled a number of showings over a couple days and when I narrowed down houses I was interested in she took me back for 2nd showings. Susan was very patient and always shared her knowledge and experience. When I decided which house I wanted to put an offer on she immediately put the offer in and it was accepted Susan continued to be on top of things with paperwork and scheduling the time for my home inspector to inspect the house. Susan did an excellent job to help guide us and made several recommendations to help ease our journey from OH to SC. She really saved us by pursuing an option to rent our new place with the previous owners until closing; which saved us from having to live in a hotel for a week with a pet and moving our things twice. As a first time homeowner I really did not know much about purchasing a home. Susan was such a huge help and always looked out for my best interests. She picked up small details in homes that I would have missed. As a single woman she always made sure that the neighborhoods I were looking at were safe.
