Amy was a pleasure to work with. She was accessible and responsive throughout the process of selling our land. We felt that Amy listened to what we wanted and didn’t use any pressure tactics. She advocated for us when we needed to be advocated for and answered all our questions along the way. It’s been a pleasure working with Amy and we would recommend doing so to anyone looking for a competent and caring realtor.
Amy is fantastic! Everything was smooth and easy with her expertise and guidance. She is very encouraging and able to handle any situation that comes her way. Highly recommend!!
TLDR: Amy has no quit in her, she will see you through to your new home! In early June '23 a friend who knew I was looking to buy a house recommended Amy. I moved to the Greenville area on June 29th, into an extended stay hotel because I thought I'd be house hunting for two months, tops. I could not have been more wrong about the hotel stay but could not have been more right about having Amy help me find THE house. The Greenville housing market is a challenge, to say the least. Amy found opportunity after opportunity. At first, I was too slow to commit, and houses got away (perhaps the first house seemed perfect, and I was thereafter kicking myself for being too slow to decide). Amy just encouraged me; she is always positive. Then an offer was accepted! But the inspection failed. She acknowledged walking away from that inspection was the right thing to do. And so, we continued our search. The next offer that went to contract got to the inspection time, and the inspector found the house in an active state of flooding. Repairs were almost complete, and the seller decided to stop repairs. No one understands why. So that sale fell through. Ten months had passed by; Amy always finding houses for us to visit. Offers being made, two going to contract then failing. It seemed hopeless, two months in the hotel turned into 10 months. Then the magical house appeared. Amy took me to see it, and it "checks all the boxes" (a phrase of hers that I grew to love; she only used it when it was true). My offer was accepted, and the house & lot are even better than that ideal house I'd missed out on when we first started looking. We closed last Friday (5/24/24), and I am now settling into my new home. Amy saw me through the entire ordeal. She never gave up, she never quit. She was always optimistic and encouraging. I'm sure there are plenty of great realtors out there. I sincerely doubt there are any better than Amy Cumbus.
